Generating Geodata from within Excel

The example spreadsheet below demonstrates how the latitude and longitude can be generated within the Excel spreadsheet.

This technique is particularily useful if you need to import large amounts of data into a DB like MySQL using a tool like "Navicat for MySQL".
This eliminates the need to write a custom script in PHP or Java to perform the data import.
